BEAR MAP vector

i have vectored the Polar Bear map, as this is the map which will be finalising in terms of product and packaging for submission, however i will also be extending this product, after submission, so i will complete the other three maps and then see how it can be extended further.

i have experimented with different line quality for the contours and other map features to add more character to the map.

i have also created a grid for the map which is 7 by 12. this is so i can number one of horizontal lines 1-7 and one of the vertical lines A-L. this is like most maps, so parts of the map can be located by coordinates such as (L, 5) for example.

this leaves me with space for 7 letters across the top, where i have place the word SIXPACK. and 12 spaces on the vertical right, where i have placed the words ARCTIC CIRCLE. this is again another subtle detail which is not to be recognised straight away, but will be seen after closer inspection, this shows attention to detail which will add a more collectible feel to the product.
